Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.
The Mountain-Plains Museums Association (MPMA, founded in 1953, provides services to museums in its 10-state region. It's central office is in the Denver area.. Its governing structure includes a board of directors and numerous committees and affiliates. Newsletters, networking opportunities, and a discount purchasing cooperative program for collections care items are available to members. It advocates on behalf of its regional museums and through the Council of Regional Associations (CRA).
