MPMA: A 10-State Regional Museum Association

Colorado, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming.   

The Mountain-Plains Museums Association(MPMA)was founded in 1953 and provides services to museums in its 10-state region. Its central office is in the Denver area and governing structure includes a board of directors and numerous committees. Newsletters, networking opportunities and a discount purchasing cooperative program for collections care items are available to members. MPMA advocates on behalf of museums and through the Council of Regional Associations (CRA).
