Description of Work:
Work with Center for Great Plains Studies and Great Plains Art Museum staff to coordinate and carry out community outreach and education programs, including seminars, symposia, conferences, workshops, special events, and museum tours. Build cohesion between Center and Museum educational programming and engage in outreach to the larger community. Job includes preparation and overseeing of budgets and fundraising in concert with Center and Museum Directors. Supervised by the Director of the Center.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in art history, arts & sciences, natural resources, or related discipline plus two years of experience in community outreach, educational program development, and/or teaching; equivalent education/experience considered. Experience must demonstrate excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate with groups and individuals of diverse ages, interests, perspectives, and learning abilities. Ability to communicate effectively both in-person, by telephone, and online. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including attention to details and accuracy. Ability to create schedules and budgets.
