Museum of the Rockies (MOR) seeks a creative and experienced fundraiser to be its next Director of Development and Membership. The Director is a critical member of the museum’s leadership team and will need to bring to the position an in-depth understanding of fundraising, membership, and events. The new Director will be responsible for helping to hire key positions and expand the department to meet the growing needs of the museum and its exciting future.

Museum of the Rockies (MOR) is Montana’s most visited museum. In 2021, MOR broke attendance records with over 230,000 general visitors and thousands of program participants and had one of its most successful fundraising years on record. The museum has also recently completed an ambitious and transformative strategic plan. With vision and a record of success in a thriving community, MOR is poised for substantial growth and the leadership of a Director of Development who can work with the Executive Director, Board, University, staff, and community to achieve greater success.

MOR is located in Bozeman, MT, one of the country’s fastest growing and prosperous communities. Nestled into the Rocky Mountains, the community offers bountiful outdoor recreation activities along with a vibrant culture of good food, art, and music.
